Smellcontrol was founded in 2024 by a group of innovative engineers and scientists to address gaps in odor detection technology. Initially focused on environmental monitoring and security applications, our work quickly expanded to include disaster management, robotics, and IoT applications. The Smell iX16 chip we developed set new standards in this field with its high sensitivity and energy efficiency. Today, our technology is used worldwide to improve and save lives.

Technology
Smellcontrol's core technology is based on nanomaterial-based gas detection sensors. Our Smell iX16 chip offers ppb sensitivity while consuming only 1 µW of power. Our sensors mimic biological olfactory mechanisms, converting gases and odors into unique digital patterns. These patterns are processed by artificial intelligence algorithms, giving devices the ability to recognize what they smell. Our technology has an infrastructure that can be easily integrated into robotic systems and IoT devices. Furthermore, with its compatibility with the ROS operating system, we aim to revolutionize robotics technologies.
